During the course of the last two months, an eclectic mix of fashion shows have been hosted throughout the city of Richmond. Junior and senior students of the VCU Fashion Design Department displayed their imposing works to a sold out audience at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. Looks from local boutiques, stores, and independent designers were the annual focus at this year’s Richmond Fashion Week. Lastly, Ten Thousand Villages of Carytown hosted their annual show and Anthropologie introduced their Spring 2012 collection to their most loyal customers a little less than a week ago.
The production of every show was impeccable and each was attended to capacity or beyond. As spring fashion fever subsides, this was a great season for fashion in the city of Richmond.
